Abstract

This study critically explores the intricate relationship between culture and business systems and their impact on multinational organizations operating in Brazil. With a focus on key dimensions, including cultural dynamics, corporate governance, human resource management, customer engagement, financial management, technology adoption, supply chain management, risk management and sustainability, this research aims to provide a nuanced understanding of how cultural factors and business systems shape organizational strategies and operations. Adopting a comprehensive analytical approach, this study systematically examines the interplay between cultural values, regulatory frameworks and business practices, drawing on an extensive review of academic literature, empirical studies and industry reports.
The findings reveal that Brazil's cultural dynamics, characterized by collectivism, social relationships, and high-context communication, significantly influence consumer behavior, negotiation styles and corporate governance practices. Furthermore, the study identifies financial management and currency risk as critical challenges for multinational corporations, emphasizing the importance of adaptive financial strategies. The analysis also highlights the transformative role of technology and innovation in enhancing organizational efficiency and customer engagement. In the realm of supply chain management, the study underscores the need for strategic contracting and supplier relationship management to achieve operational excellence. Moreover, risk management and sustainability are recognized as essential components of corporate responsibility and resilience in the Brazilian market.
The study concludes that multinational corporations must adopt culturally adaptive strategies, implement robust risk management frameworks, leverage technology for operational efficiency and demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability. These recommendations are essential for achieving sustainable growth, maintaining compliance and enhancing competitive advantage in Brazil's complex and dynamic business environment.
