The Impact of Empowering Leadership on The Development of Exceptional Human Capital

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of empowering leadership on the development of exceptional human capital in the public sector, which is characterized by a number of challenges to organizational performance and employee development. The type of the current research was descriptive-analytical. The study used a questionnaire to collect responses from 80 employees of government institutions working in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf governorate. The questionnaire was developed based on a five-point Likert-scale. Data analysis involved the use of the appropriate statistical tools.
The results of the study revealed that empowering leadership positively affects the development of exceptional human capital, which means that it needs to be implemented in government institutions to achieve maximum potential of employees, promote innovation, and utilize the creative abilities of staff. The key terms of the current research are empowering leadership, exceptional human capital, and public sector.
